'Bad Boys' sees jungle revivalist Serum team up with Steppa and Kitcha (under their Northern Lights guise) using a big sample from Inner Circle paired with crispy breakbeats and booming bass. On the flip 'House Of Pain' Kitcha's in the picture once more and the pair tease out a filthy dancefloor killer that's full of moody vibes. This is a great start to a promising new label. Fans of dancefloor D&B should pay attention!

Fresh from the Chronic lab, this 12'' is the sampler from the long awaited Big Bad and Heavy Part Two. Chronic has been running for fourteen years now and they just keep bring out absolute bangers, and both these tracks will knock you out with the weighty bass. Oh and this is just the sampler, so watch out.

You've heard the 'Slum & Bass', now make way for the 'Slum Step'. Slum Dogz join the Circus for their debut dub step venture and believe us this is one hell of a way to start! Keeping it pure doggy style for 'In The Hood', the dogz hit the hood ensuring you're bouncing and shoulder bopping hard to the grinding frequency sound over the Slum step drum. Twist half way through to the 'yoid' while rubbing your stomach and patting your head, trust us, It's not an easy skill to learn! (WE TRIED!) With support from Mista Jam (1 Xtra), Benga , N Type, Hatcha, Chase and Status, Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, Cookie Monster, Rusko, Crissy Criss and many more. On the flip 'For All Time' with and old skool intro, they tease the house genre when building up, but most importantly they drop it Slum step!

Hamilton goes from strength to strength with his second release on Frequency. With 'Come Again' and 'Breathe' you've got to jump up slammers that drop heavy in the dance. Label owner Andy C has been smashing to bits, the Ram crew have found another strong artist here.

'Daydreams' by Proktah is a fine example of the smooth tech sound that he has become renowned for, it's definitely of the calibre that has got him signed on Close 2 Death and Habit in the past. 'Moon Boot' on the flip sees a return to Have A Break for Mow, with a cinema scape roller, expertley put together.

Mainframe has become a label to look out for in 2010 and continues its take over of the scene with their eighth release. 'Rumours', produced by Disaszt and featuring the vocal talents of Coppa, takes the strain of a side billing. Inside Info return to the fray with 'Stations' on the flip.
